Coffee Icing


This recipe is one of my favorites, I used it on my Chocolate Cake recipe as a filling and decor, and it was DELICIOUS! It is so good and so simple and easy and it only has 5 ingredients. So here it is...

Ingredients:

3 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup (half a stick) of unsalted butter
1 Tbsp instant Espresso powder 
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 Tbsp water

Instructions:
In a large bowl place butter, and beat with a handheld mixer until fluffy. Add Vanilla Extract and beat until creamed. In a small dish or drinking glass mix espresso powder and water together until the powder has dissolved, add to butter mixture and beat until well combined. Add powdered sugar and beat until it comes to a  spreadable consistency. If it is too runny just add a bit more powdered sugar.
